I am a second-year PhD student investigating the influence of mental health in the family. My PhD focuses on the role of social relationships in families when a sibling presents with a mental health condition. This work involves analyzing large-scale datasets cross-sectionally and longitudinally, collecting survey responses from children and young people, and conducting focus groups with affected individuals. Overall, my aim is to develop a theoretical framework informed by empirical studies for future family-based interventions to be developed.
Prior to my PhD I worked as a research assistant in the psychiatry department at UCL, completed the MSc degree in Psychological Research at the University of Oxford, and the BSc degree in Psychology at UCL. I am currently funded by the Friends of Peterhouse.
